British
driver Daniel Boys represents the
first wave of an emerging new breed
of European racer. Like most of
his contemporaries, Daniel came
up through the junior ranks of traditional
British open wheel circuit racing
but is now focused on oval competition
and his goal of reaching major-league
NASCAR racing, as immortalised in
Tom Cruise's motion picture, 'Days
Of Thunder'.
2003
was a landmark year for Daniel as
he made motorsport history by becoming
the first European driver to take
a 'Days Of Thunder'-style
win on US soil in only his fourth
oval race. A successful campaign
over the last two seasons have netted
four wins and third in the Competitve
Edge Championship Series.
2005
marks a new beginning for the Englishman,
who steps up to NASCAR competition
in the Weekly Series. Follow Dan's
progress right here as he takes
on some of the USA's most established
stock car racers at the Pacific
Northwest's Evergreen Speedway.
With
racing success in the United States
in what is set to become America's
biggest grossing sport by 2007,
coupled with the focused determination
that is required to excel in this
discipline, Daniel Boys has the
credentials to succeed on both sides
of the Atlantic.
